Meet the Doctors and Staff

  • Dr.
    Jim Kambeitz
    Chiropractor

    Dr. Kambeitz has had a passion for health and nutrition from a young age. He was born and raised in Alberta, Canada where he played multiple sports. Hockey was his passion when he played five years in the Western Hockey League. Those five years earned him the WHL academic scholarship program that took him to the University of Calgary for his undergraduate degree and then to University of Houston where he completed his Master’s degree. Dr. Kambeitz continued his journey to Parker Chiropractic College in Dallas, Texas and completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1998. He continues to study all aspects of health and nutrition and is currently working to complete his certification in functional medicine to better serve his patients. Dr. Kambeitz believes the key to optimal health is an active lifestyle consisting of exercise, nutrition, chiropractic care, mediation and restful sleep. When not working with patients, Dr. Kambeitz spends time with his wife Tina and their sons Demetri, Dino, and Anthony.

    Bryan Zales
    Chiropractor

    Dr. Bryan Zales has always enjoyed caring for people and helping others. He grew up outside of Chicago but followed his dreams out west to enjoy outdoor adventures such as hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting. He has been a valuable part of the Kambeitz Chiropractic team since 2009 and is a very skilled and compassionate chiropractor. He especially enjoys the intangible rewards that come from helping people feel better and adopt a healthy lifestyle. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his wife Sarah and their young son and daughter.

  • Dr.
    Melanie Malone
    Chiropractor

    Born in Montreal, Quebec, Dr. Melanie is a dual citizen who spent most of her life growing up in Englewood, Colorado. She attended Western Illinois University, where she competed as a Division I volleyball player and earned her degree in Athletic Training. Her background as a high-level athlete gives her a deep understanding of the physical demands placed on the body and the importance of proper movement, recovery, and injury prevention.

    Dr. Melanie went on to earn her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Logan University in St. Louis and later completed an internship at the University of Miami, working with their Division I football program. Her passion for chiropractic care was shaped by a personal back injury during her collegiate career, reinforcing her belief in proactive, performance-based care that helps patients not only recover from injury but perform at their highest level.

    Today, she focuses on helping patients move better, build resilience, and optimize performance—whether they are competitive athletes, active adults, or individuals simply looking to feel and function their best.

    Outside the clinic, Dr. Melanie enjoys spending time with her husband, Caleb, a performance coach at Kambeitz Chiropractic. Together, they enjoy hiking, cooking, golfing, and staying active with family.

    Alex Schernecke
    Chiropractor

    Dr. Alex Schernecke was raised in the scenic town of Longmont, Colorado, where he developed a lifelong love for the outdoors and a passion for helping others. A former baseball player, Dr. Schernecke combines his athletic background with his expertise in chiropractic care to support patients in achieving their health and wellness goals. He earned his undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Nebraska Wesleyan University, building a strong foundation in human movement and performance. Dr. Schernecke graduated from Parker University in Dallas, Texas, where he honed his skills and deepened his commitment to empowering patients through evidence-based chiropractic care. Outside of the clinic, he loves spending time with his girlfriend, Melea, and their dog, Tucker, exploring the outdoors and creating lasting memories. Dr. Schernecke believes in a personalized approach to care, striving to help every patient live life to its fullest potential.

    Caleb Kjose
    Chiropractor

    Dr. Caleb Kjose is a licensed chiropractor with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Minnesota and a Sports Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University. His journey into chiropractic care began while working as a chiropractic assistant, where he witnessed firsthand the profound impact non-drug treatments can have on patients’ lives. Inspired by this experience, he has dedicated his career to helping others achieve healthier, happier lives through personalized care.

    Originally from Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Dr. Kjose moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, to pursue his education and later relocated to Colorado for its ideal climate and abundance of year-round outdoor activities. When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll often find him exploring the mountains—snowboarding, hiking, and camping.

  • Caleb M
    Performance Coach

    Caleb is a Marine Corps veteran with a background in high-level strength and conditioning. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of Iowa, where he interned with the university’s nationally recognized Strength & Conditioning staff, working across all sports programs. Prior to joining Kambeitz Chiropractic, Caleb served as a Strength & Conditioning Coach at Lindenwood University (Division I), where he worked with Men’s Volleyball, Men’s Ice Hockey, Field Hockey, and assisted with the football program. He has also coached athletes in the private sector, including NFL, UFC, youth, and tactical populations. Caleb is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA and is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Nutrition & Human Performance.

  • Daniel L
    Personal Trainer, Modality Specialist, Certified Stretcher

    Daniel moved to Colorado, coming from Thomasville, North Carolina. He grew up always being involved in sports, such as baseball, soccer, and basketball. Once he started his college career, he then came to realize his passion for fitness stemming from his training for sports in high school. He’s always had a love for working out and improving himself; now, he loves to help others to be able to do the same. Daniel enjoys hiking and being active with his 5-year-old husky, Bella. His favorite Colorado destination is Rocky Mountain National Park, and his bucket list destination is Yellowstone National Park.

  • Emily L., LAT, ATC
    Personal Trainer, Dry Needles

    Emily is a Colorado native and couldn’t imagine living anywhere else than here. She has a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, and a Minor in Coaching because she always wanted a career where she felt like she could help people mentally and physically and athletic training was a perfect fit for that career aspiration. As a former bodybuilder, and collegiate basketball player, she had her fair share of injuries and wants to help others through their rehab process. She is dedicated to helping her clients to lead the healthiest lifestyle possible, both mentally and physically. Outside of the clinic and gym, she enjoys spending time with family, friend, her dog Lukah, and outdoor activities year-round including hiking, golf, and skiing.

  • Lauren W
    Licensed Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Yoga Instructor

    Lauren grew up in Englewood, CO, and is a rare Colorado native! She is a NASM personal trainer and 200 RYT Vinyasa yoga instructor, holding many supporting certifications. She received her associate degree in applied science from the Community College of Denver. Lauren has always been passionate about helping others with their health and wellness journeys and feeling their best. Outside of work, you can find Lauren enjoying all the outdoor adventures Colorado has to offer, from skiing to camping and hiking 14ers with her husband Carl and their two dogs.

  • Kirsti S
    Modality Specialist, Certified Stretcher

    Kirsti, originally from Kansas City, holds a bachelor’s degree in Alternative Medicine and is a certified stretcher. She is a strong advocate for taking a proactive approach to health, believing it’s the key to long-term wellness. With a holistic approach combining chiropractic care, exercise, muscle therapy, and proper nutrition, she believes progress is inevitable. Having undergone shoulder surgery with six anchors, Kirsti is no stranger to both pain and the healing process. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time on adventures with her husband, Sam, and their ten-year-old son, Decklen.

  • Krissy S
    Chiropractic Assistant

    Krissy was born in Northern California and shortly after moved to the beautiful state of Colorado. Krissy loves spending quality time with her husband and two beautiful girls. Her daughters keep her busy by being involved in dance, swimming, and tennis on a day-to-day basis. Krissy worked for Frontier Airlines for 17 years before transitioning into the world of chiropractic. Her enthusiasm and drive for helping others are what set her apart.

    Sue was born in California but has lived in Colorado most of her life. She enjoys spending time with her husband, her three children and three grandchildren. She loves watching sports and doing anything outside. Sue has worked in the medical professional field for most of her career. She has vast experience with customer service and helping others with their health and wellness needs.

    Chiropractic Assistant

    A proud Colorado native, Kathleen Park has spent most of her life in Denver, raising her three children in Evergreen. After 25 years as a stay-at-home mom, she made the decision to return to work part-time and naturally chose a chiropractic office, having grown up in a chiropractic family—her father was the first chiropractor in Aurora. Outside of work, Kathleen enjoys spending time with her grown children, soaking up the outdoors (especially on a beach), and indulging in her passion for decorating and design.

  • Tenille L
    Chiropractic Assistant

    With an Associate of Arts in Merchandise Product Development from the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (Los Angeles), Tenille brings a creative eye to our team. She started her career in fashion—first in sales and then as a visual merchandiser—designing store layouts, styling mannequins, and building captivating in-store and window displays. Later, she transitioned to West Elm, where she styled furniture, curated décor, and created inviting showroom environments.

    In addition to her design background, Tenille has meaningful experience in childcare. She has worked as a paraeducator supporting special-needs students and most recently served as lead young-toddlers teacher at a local preschool.

    A Colorado native, she treasures her time with her two nephews and enjoys hiking, watching sports, and spending time with family. What she loves most about working at Kambeitz Chiropractic is the opportunity to support others’ wellness—a passion she’s excited to blend with her enthusiasm for sports.
